What is SEALECTION® 500?

SEALECTION® 500 is an open-cell semi-rigid, low density spray foam inulation product that has no ozone destroying gases (HFCs or HCFCs) or formaldehyde. It is environmentally friendly and allows you to achieve an airtight seal.  Building scientists have recognized that air leakage has a tremendous impact on the R-Value performance of homes and buildings. SEALECTION®500 is an effective air barrier that elliminates the transfer of warm, moist air through the buildings envelope. By stopping that air movement, moisture cannot become trapped creating an environment for the growth of molds and mildew.

With Sealection®500, your new or retrofit building is permanently protected, sealed off from wind, pollutants and airborne sound, and resistant to condensation-related problems.

SEALECTION®500 once installed, it does not shrink, settle or disintergrate. Unlike most conventional insulating materials, it maintaines its efficiency with no loss of R-value over the life of the building.  Most importantly, it does not cause corrosion or rusting of metal buildings.
